Taking place in 1217, The Battle of Sandwich was fought just off the coast and was the last time an enemy had to be expelled from British soil.

Strange Cargoes

Sandwich used to be the second busiest port in Britain. This exhibition explores some of the weird, wonderful and surprising visitors who travelled through the port.
